Hull Stingrays gained four points this weekend with two wins against Scottish opposition. On Saturday Hull travelled north of the border to visit Edinburgh Capitals and goals from Alipov, Koulikov, Rublivsky and Glowa saw them come away with a 4-1 win. Fife Flyers were visitors to the Hull Arena on Sunday. After an uneventful first period Greg Kuznik opened the scoring hitting a slap shot past a screened Kudnra in the Hull net.

Not even a minute later and Rublivsky scored his first goal at the Hull Arena to make it all square going into the third period. It took just 84 seconds for Dru Burgess to take advantage of a mistake by Scott Hay and score shorthanded for the Rays. Captain Pavel Gomenyuk finished the scoring hitting a wrist shot past Hay, who was screened by his own player, Kyle Horne.

Belfast Giants visit the Hull Arena next Saturday (22nd January), face off 5:30pm, then a visit to Sheffield on Sunday.
