It's now Friday night and it's back to Pacha for Ministry of Sound. It'll cost you €50 a ticket but guesting are some of the finest house DJs in the world including Smokin' Jo and Danny Rampling. Pacha is a fantastic club and I've never had a bad night there, so it's certainly worth at least one visit during the week.

The last day of the week is reserved for shopping. The only place to shop in Ibiza is the island's capital. Ibiza Town is packed with shops and boutiques that will make you wish you'd picked up your credit card. The last night is Hed Kandi at El Divino in Ibiza Town. The smallest of Ibiza's premier clubs, El Divino has a more intimate atmosphere than most clubs on the island. The main attraction is the view and vibe on the outdoor terrace which looks out onto Ibiza Town's spectacular marina.

The perfect place to warm up before Hed Kandi is Base Bar. Just a stone's throw away from El Divino, Base Bar offers a chance to see the Hed Kandi DJs warm up and to get reduced tickets for the evening. Hed Kandi is a must for lovers of funky house and a great way to end a week of clubbing.

Being kicked out of your hotel at midday when your flight isn't until the early hours of the morning could be a real drag but in Ibiza it's an advantage. DC10 is one of Ibiza's finest all day bars and being on the doorstep of the airport it is the ideal place to say goodbye to the island.

So I found myself in the baggage retrieval in Manchester Airport not quite knowing how I'd got there, I realized I was definitely back in the real world. That is, of course, until next year.
