Coming down after a night like Manumission can be a living nightmare in the heat and the only way to combat this is to find some shade on the beach and laze the day away. The beach in San Antonio leaves a lot to be desired. It is overcrowded and often dirty, but for a couple of euros you can jump on a boat and in ten minutes be in Cala Basa, a small secluded beach in idyllic surroundings.

After a long day of doing absolutely nothing it's best to get some sleep. Ibiza doesn't come alive until around midnight, so there's always plenty of time for forty winks.

The place to be on Tuesday nights is the world famous Space, Mixmag's 2002 club of the year. Superstar D.J. and star of clubber's cult film Human Traffic, Carl Cox plays two two hour sets of progressive hard house. Space is located just a couple of miles away from Ibiza airport, beneath one of the islands main flight paths. To say the planes fly over low is somewhat of an understatement but this is what makes space unique, as the planes blend in with the mix to create an awesome effect.
I would like to go into great detail about Space and Mr Cox's sets but (un)fortunately I dropped two speckled mitzis in the queue, therefore my memories are a little blurred. My friends assure me though, that it was a fantastic atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
After leaving Space there are two after party bars in Play d'en Bossa. If you don't mind getting sun-burned and you're still gurning then Bora Bora is the ideal place to carry on. Essentially a beach bar, the clientele are a blend of club-nuts and German body-builders in Speedos. If all that sounds too much then Ancient People is the place for you. A very, very dark Aztec-themed bar piled with comfy sofas that will make you regret not bringing your P.J.s.

Ibiza, The World Keeps Gurning continued

Wednesday is my favourite night of the week. Subliminal Sessions at Pacha in Ibiza Town is a real treat for fans of dark funky house. Subliminal boasts Eric Morrillo, Darren Emerson (Underworld), FC Kahuna and X-Press 2 as it's residents. Pacha is one of the most stylish clubs in the world and therefore attracts some of the most stylish clubbers, so dress up for this one or you won't get in.
If you're clubbing seven nights a week you're going to need to keep your strength up and this means eating well. There are plenty of places to eat well in Ibiza. If you're staying in San Antonio you'd be mad not to try David's Pizzeria. Serving perhaps the best pizza and pasta on the island, David's has a beautiful terrace of Balinese furniture and its French owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
For a fantastic meal on the beach the place to be is Kasbah in Calo des Moro. The staff are as mouth watering as the food and the chef's called Mark from Essex, by the way.
If you have plenty of cash, which is advisable in Ibiza, you might want to try Las Dos Lunas in Ibiza town. Very popular among the DJs and celebs and the luxurious garden setting is an added bonus.
Another night and of course, another club. If it's Thursday it must be Cream at Amnesia. The door tax for this night of progressive trance is between €30 and €45 but the residents are Paul Van Dyk and Tilsto.
Amnesia consists of two huge rooms. Room One is where it all happens. In the centre of the dance floor, the bass rattles your spine and with dry ice bellowed out at point blank range to boot.
Room two tends to have a more laid back feel and the DJ is often accompanied by a live saxophonist which creates a fantastic atmosphere.
Whilst in Ibiza it's a crime not to take advantage of the breathtaking sunsets. The Sunset Strip in San Antonio is the most popular place on the island to witness it, lined with fantastic cafes including Café Del Mar and Café Mambo. However, if you have enough cash you can hire a luxury speedboat for a couple of hours to get the very best view of the sunset. For €30 each you get to feel like James Bond as the sun sets and with all you can drink thrown in, it's the perfect way to start the evening.

Holidays - Al's Trip To Croatia By Allen Miles

£649 is a lot of money in most people's eyes. And to spend that much money on seven days away when
you're only earning £130 a week might be in a very real way considered lunacy.
However, I decided to go for three reasons;

- Simple Holiday Pleasures by Mike

The time was 7.30 am and I was already awake. Liz stirred as I crept out of
the caravan without waking Alex and Anna. From our elevated position overlooking the bay,
the Med looked as calm as a millpond. The panoramic view was stunning as usual.

One dismal Monday afternoon I was sitting in the pub with my neighbour David, bemoaning the weather and feeling miserable, when David uttered the immortal words "let's go on holiday". Quicker than you can say " Linford Christie" we were at the travel agents choosing our destination.

Humour - Is it All Over for the Personal Ads? by Jane Foster
At one time, joining a dating agency or putting a personal ad in the paper was seen as the mark of desperation.
If anyone did do it, they seldom admitted it - unless they actually ended up meeting someone and staying with them. Then the details of how they met might leak out slowly..
But technology has changed the way people meet and interact, and one of the most common pastimes is..

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon."
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating: "If GM had developed technology like Microsoft..
