Grass Roots 2003
Dance and celebrations

The effect on the local Kurdish residents to their music was exhilarating to be a part of.

Young Kurdish men holding hands and dancing together, in Hull.

Only in a city, and country as great as this, can these Kurdish refugees celebrate their survival from persecution at home and loss of contact with their families.

The activity, and sounds brought in huge crowds to the arena stage area.

Somehow to celebrate a muli cultural success of people living here together, this is Hull.

www.thisisUll.com would like to thank Grass Roots for the chance to take part in a wonderful occasion in Hull.
Editor.

NightClub Reviews - Welly club on Beverley Road
Well, the Welly club on Beverley Road. What can I say?? Fab? Great? Alternative? Friendly? 'avin it large? Cool? Yep all of those and more. This club has one of the most varied alternative scenes I know of. From drum and bass nights (shinobi) to indie nights (yo-yo) Welly really is the cracking place to be seen. I gotta say that it is the music, punters, bar staff, door staff, management, cloak attendants and all who enter this great club that give it that air of ?

Articles - Rudston Monolith by Nicholas Boldock
Think of standing stones and you automatically think of Stonehenge, yes? That beautiful and world-renowned monument sited smack in the middle of greenest Wiltshire, spiritual home to druid and crusty alike, scene of many a cider-fuelled Solstice party.
