Revolution Reviewed
by Matthew Wilson

After seeing the 15 minute promise posters in the window of Revolution every day for a couple of weeks, I decided to go in and put them to the test. The deal is, if your food takes longer than 15 minutes from when you order to when it appears on your table, you get it for free. So upon entering, my wife and I were told by a friendly young lady to take a seat.

She came over to us with food menus and took our drinks order after advising us on cocktails. When she returned with our drinks, my wife had some questions about a couple of options on the menu, which our waitress was able to answer easily.
She then delivered an egg timer to our table to time our 15 minutes. We sat there watching the sand fall taking in the surroundings, waiting for our food.
When our food arrived (Beef Goulash and Teriyaki Tuna) it was beautifully presented and cooked to our specification. Unfortunately, it arrived within 15 minutes, so we had to pay! But I will be visiting again, so maybe next time!

My only criticisms would be the music is too loud in some areas of the bar, and the starters are rather pricey, some costing nearly as much as a main course. But overall, for the full meal, it was good value.

He told me; all you had to do was ASK! Because we were a large number Read more...
