Wednesday 30th January 08 - Off The Road - Dylanania at The Adelphi

It's almost 50 years since a tousled young Minnesotan first walked into a recording studio with an acoustic guitar, a handful of harmonicas and a vision. His fresh and vibrant take on traditional folk-singing electrified (not bad for an acoustic performer) a generation, and his songs brought about an explosive revolution in the way people played, listened to, and thought about, music. That man was Bob Dylan, and the rest is history - and a couple of truly excruciating films, but let's forget about that for now ...

On 30th January, at the New Adelphi Club, some of Hull's best singer/songwriters will be airing their appreciation of the great man - as well as those who inspired him. Join them as they make yesterday today, today tomorrow, and tomorrow four weeks next Thursday. Nat Roe, OB1, Ussif Nagi, Val Mashall, Adrian Byron Burns, Wendy Richards, Martin Deane, The James Dean Syndrome and Crack Town.

	5Rhythms dance sessions are held every week in Hull, on a Friday evening.
