Wednesday 15th August 07 - Introducing Square One at The Dorchester

Square One is a new weekly band night held at Sullivan's Bar, The Dorchester Hotel on Beverley Road. Dedicated to bringing the best in new unsigned talent the city has to offer, Square One will feature 3 bands each week, kicking off at 9pm.

Square One has a good relationship with some of Hull's top bands, promoters, publications and gigs venues, and will strive to provide the best night as possible on a regular weekly basis.

Bands wishing to play Square One should get in touch via myspace www.myspace.com/squareonehull. (see blog for further details). Out of town bands will be considered, although Hull acts are given priority. This Wednesday sees some of East Yorkshire's top upcoming bands grace the stage, headlined by the superb James Dean Syndrome, and supported by out of town act The Peekaboos. 1st act tbc.

	Going down a storm on the local pub circuit with packed audiences every show U2OPIA are the Ultimate U2 Cover Band. Lead singer Lee Craddock says that he has been stunned at the fantastic response the band is getting from an ever increasing fan base.
