19th to 25th August 07 - Freedom Festival at Preston Road Freedom Centre and Village Centre At 97 Preston Road Hull

This week long series of events is to celebrate the many initiatives and projects undertaken to promote East Hull's regeneration. The fun packed week launches on Sunday 19th August with a festival blessing and Barbecue.

Monday 20th join Johnny Pat and the Aces taking a musical trip down memory lane. Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd is Under 18s Creative Freedom with various workshops including dance, drama, singing, art, music, DJing, video and much more besides. Thursday 23rd (evening) Join us for a Giant Teddy Bears Picnic for the younger ones with fun and games and much more.

Thursday 23rd 6pm - 10pm - Under 18s Hardcore Freedom At The Village Centre 97 Preston Road. Full on night of Hardcore featuring scratch legend DJ SY (Quosh Records) Hard Nation Renegade DJ WELSHY plus DJ NITROUS, DJ DAMAGE, DJ JUDE with MCs TURBO and PDC Tickets £4 please note this is an alcohol free event.

Saturday 25th - A Family Fun Day Finale. Top Class live music from HDM Talent Trail finalists The Beards plus Honey Trap and the Ultimate U2 Cover Band U2OPIA Plus the amazing talent that is Kinisha, (Britain's top Tina Turner tribute act) more acts to be announced. Hull KR will be down with players and so much more as the week of events culminates in one grand groovy party! There will be food available, plus a fully licensed bar.
