14th February 07 - Circus Envy EP Launch Night at Durty Nellies Hull
|
Top Hull based band Circus Envy
www.circusenvyband.com
launch their newly recorded EP, Movies, on Wednesday 14th February
with a special gig at Durty Nellies public house on the High Street in Hull's old town.
Picking Valentines night for a launch gig might seem like an odd date
but what better present to give your other half than an evening's
great music and with the title track Movies lyrical content it makes
quite a lot of sense.
|
|
Previews of Movies can be heard on the bands
website at
www.circusenvyband.com
and on their Myspace page.
One of the main reasons for picking Durty Nellies to launch the CD
is to acknowledge the help that the venues promoter David Elf
(Africa Studios) has given the band over the last year or so as well
as the unique setting the pub provides.
|
|
Support for the gig comes from singer/songwriters David Elf and Steve Reed
www.myspace.com/stevereedmusic
who has achieved plenty of success of his own in the last twelve months
and is another of Hull's classy acoustic musicians who strives and has
succeeded in creating his own unique sound and style which compliments
Circus Envy perfectly.
