Thursday 15th And Friday 16th February 07 - Unpaid Work Bid Briefings

Briefing events are being held in our region to inform organisations about bidding to contract with Humberside Probation to deliver Unpaid Work.

The events are directed at organisations or groups of organisations who, working in conjunction with Humberside Probation, could provide both Unpaid Work placements and supervision for several offenders over at least a 12 month period. The greatest demand for Unpaid Work placements occurs on Saturdays and Sundays.

The events will be split broadly into two halves. The first will describe how Unpaid Work is currently delivered in Humberside.
The second will review and answer questions about the Considerations re an Unpaid Work Service.
Organisations wanting to solely access Unpaid Work offender labour supervised by Probation staff should contact the Unpaid Work Unit Managers, Bill Postill and Dave Morton on 01482 480156/5 or email bill.postill@humberside.probation.gsi.gov.uk or dave.morton@humberside.probation.gsi.gov.uk.

Friday 16th February 07 at Reeds Hotel, Westfield Lakes, Far-Ings Road, Barton DN14 8RG at 2pm to 4pm.
