Wednesday 16th May 07 - Commissioning Children's Services Conference At Government Office, Leeds

This event aims to improve third sector commissioning in children's services and is jointly organised by the Yorkshire Regional group of the National Council for Child Care Voluntary Organisations (NCVCCO), and VCS Engage and Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber (GOYH)

Alongside presentations from key note speakers Helen McMullen Director, Children And Learners (GOYH), Denis Gale, Principal Commissioning Manager, Services to Children and Young People, City of Bradford Council and June O'Sullivan from Westminster Children's Society, participants will have the opportunity to discuss issues in more detail with colleagues from other organisations.
This event is aimed at Voluntary and Community Organisations delivering services for children and young people across the region, including large, medium and small organisations.
The aims of the workshop are to promote dialogue and learning, to inform and inspire.

This event is free but places are limited so do book straight away. Places need to be booked by 7th May.

Although the event is free, you will need to give the organisers 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend so that the place can be given to someone else. Those who fail to inform the organisers of their non-attendance within 48 hours will be charged £10 to cover lunch and other costs.
