Thisisull.com is proud to present August's Thisisull Live featuring two of Rising Records recent signings Sworn Amongst (Patrington) and Nato. (Cornwall) Opening the rock/metal night are four piece Soulflame with Ron and Nic Hales ( father and son guitar maestros)

As reported on this site 2nd July Sworn Amongst signed a deal with Mark Daghorn's Rising Records label. Previous signings include Mendeed and Sheffield based Nex After the success of debut album Derision Of Conformity the metal quartet won a slot at Download Festival at Donnington Park and have played the main stage at Bloodstock alongside Primal Fear, Death Stars and My Dying Bride. The band has since released an eponymous EP featuring the new twin guitar line up.

Nato hugely popular metal-core band from the south west of England are laying siege to venues all over the country. Their album Kill The Fox To Foil The Plan is out now available at Virgin Megastores, HMV and the video Kill Em Dead Cowboy is play-listed on MTV2 and available on ITUNES. New video to the track A Ballroom Dance With Angels and Demons has just been completed and can be seen now on the bands Myspace look out for a cool as guitar throw towards the end.

Soulflame after a number of years, and line up changes, have come to the fore since Ron Hales joined his son's band earlier this year. The exhilarating band has played Power Metal UK alongside Pitiful Reign, Infobia and Deliverance. The two lead guitarists are also responsible for a regular Wednesday musician's night at Springhead Pub in Hull and for lending their knowledge, time and talent to inspire fledgling musicians. New track Dirty Little Princess is going down a storm at shows everywhere.
