Friday 6th October - Livingston at Vivaz, Sheffield

London-based Livingston will play Scarborough's Vivaz in the first of a series of gigs that have been organised following the success of the H2006:BEACHED festival. Livingston played the Saturday night of Beached, and were a massive hit with the audience at the festival. They won last year's prestigious Carling Battle of the Bands, which led to recording sessions in Abbey Road Studios with renowned producer Andy Wright (David Bowie, Massive Attack, Sinead O'Connor, Jeff Beck).

Band members hail from Norway, Italy, Germany and South Africa, and in the last two years, Livingston have toured across the UK, Ireland and Greece. Three As Seen at Beached gigs will take place at Vivaz on Huntriss Row between now and Christmas. The first three in the series feature Livingston on 6th October, Electric Eel Shock on 29th November, and Amsterdam on 15th December.

Local musicians will support the headline bands at each gig. Admission is £5 on the door, and doors open at 8pm. More information about all the As Seen at Beached gigs is available at www.beached.net
