Embracing Diversity Training
|
In October, some powerful and innovative training is coming to our region.
Embracing Diversity is a one day training event which challenges mindsets to
lead to a greater understanding of the importance of embracing diversity and
social inclusion.
The programme includes a diversity play called The Challenge, the chance for
the audience to ask questions to the actors in character and a look at how
to open people's minds on issues surrounding discrimination, prejudice and
communication in a safe, non-judgemental environment.

This training is aimed at all organisations that realise the skills and
talents of local people, and has been described by many as the best
training they have ever been to.
|
|
The training is a one day event, and is taking place between 2nd-18th October in
Hull at the Freedom Centre on Preston Road, and on 19th and 20th October in Grimsby
at the Grimsby Institute.
Voluntary sector places cost £23.50 in total.
For those working in other sectors the cost is £117.50.
