Politics Courses At Beverley Road Community Centre

A series of 10 week short courses are going to be held at Beverley Road Community Centre, in partnership with the University of Hull's Centre for Lifelong Learning. They will provide a chance to debate the issues of the day and to understand the ideas and events behind the headlines. The courses will be run depending on sufficient numbers of applicants. Subjects will include:

What do political parties really stand for? The politics of welfare and citizenship Democracy in modern Britain The causes and consequences of political violence Globalisation All courses carry University Foundation Award credits.
