November 06 - January 07 - Short Courses With Humberside Learning Consortium

Humberside Learning Consortium (HLC) are running the following three courses in November 06 : Thursday 23rd November Basic First Aid Certificate 9am - 4.30pm Goodwin Centre, Hull £25 This course is accredited and designed for people wishing to refresh or to become the appointed person. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Friday 24th November Minute Taking 9.30am - 4pm £30

This course is targeted at anyone whose role demands minute-taking skills. This is an introductory course and is primarily aimed at those new to minute-taking or seeking a refresher. It will enable learners to develop the skills and confidence required to take and produce accurate and clearly written minutes.

15th, 22nd & 29th November 2006 and 17th, 24th & 31st January 2007 CIEH Professional Trainers Certificate (3 day course) 9am - 4pm KC Stadium, Hull £75 This course is designed for new and existing trainers who have none, little or some experience of training and development. It will give potential trainers the core skills needed to design and deliver effective group and/or one to one training sessions, and provide a basis of skills, understanding and knowledge.
