Saturday 17th June - Sunday 18th June - Weekend Activities For The Family at ARC

To celebrate National Architecture Week, Arc in Hull is running two family activities over the coming weekend. On Saturday 17th June (12pm - 4pm) they are running a den-building workshop with Scrapstore, where parents and children can build dens, and then compare what they've created to what architects and artists have made. Places for the workshop need to be booked in advance, and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. On Sunday 18th June (11.30am - 3pm) there is a walk and drawing workshop with artist Nicola Streeten. This will involve a walk around the fruit market area near the marina, and a chance to create maps based on the experience.

Again booking is necessary, and participants will need a packed lunch. The drawing workshop will be suitable for 5 -12 year olds, and they must be accompanied by an adult.
