Hull's first Winterlude music festival takes place from
Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th February 2006 at various venues in Hull.
Take a break from the blues and warm your soul with a long weekend
of music and dance in Hull. Festival organisers Lou and Rich Duffy-Howard
said: Winterlude presents a warm and welcoming array of local
and internationally renowned music to light up the winter nights.

The Lamp 7pm £3 - Unique on the English folk scene, the fiddle, drums
and bass of The Jim Eldon Band. From Kurdistan, Gul Naz - Infectious rhythms
on keys, dumbek, electric saz and violin. Enjoy the dance!
The Adelphi 8.30 p.m. £4/5 - Under the Influence presents from
Sydney Australia, Howling Bells. Plus special guests and DJs.
