Thursday 23rd March 06 - Music Exchange at The Dorchester Hotel

Doghouse Skiffle Group and harriWatts band & guests at the Dorchester Hotel from 8pm. Music Exchange, hosted by harriWatts band is a brand new music event for Hull and will have its opening night on Thursday, 23rd March in the Tamworth Suite of the Dorchester Hotel on Beverley road, Hull. The special guest artist on the opening night will be The Doghouse Skiffle Group who are local to Hull but are known across the length and breadth of the UK because of their uniquely popular and highly entertaining performances. www.skiffledogs.co.uk

Each monthly event will be hosted by local performers harriWattsband who are well known for their own brand of original music. The 3 piece band consists of guitar, violin and bass and vary their style of folk/blues/jazz ballads. A spokesman for the group said; We wanted to feature performers that are few and far between in Hull and not just add to the usual rock music scene. We are pleased to have artists of the quality of The Doghouse Skiffle Group to kick-start this new venture and expect the opening night to be a success. We intend for other up and coming local performers to be given short guest spots during each evening as well.

All in all we want to attract a wide cross section of audience who will enjoy the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that we intend to generate.
