MJ Hibbett And The Validators Gig Dates July 06
|
MJ Hibbett and The Validators are setting off on tour to promote their brand new album
'WE VALIDATE!' The launch party happens at The Grapes in Sheffield on Thursday July 6th.
Albums, singles and tour t-shirts will all be available and the first fifty people
through the door will receive a free 'I VALIDATE!' badge.
They then visit The Portland Arms in Cambridge on July 8th and MJ plays a solo show at
the Bull and Gate in London on July 10th.
After that there's a couple of weeks off before the whole band clamber into a van and
head out for a whole week of gigs.
|
|
|
MJ's played hundreds of solo gigs all over the
country and Tim Pattison spent several years touring Europe and the USA when he
drummed for much missed indie legends Prolapse but this is The Validators'
first ever national headline tour. |
|
The last time the band spent this long together was when they had a week in Cornwall last year
recording 'WE VALIDATE!' The album features twelve new songs, including the single
Better Things To Do, a big hearted love song which has already been played on BBC 6Music,
and live favourites The Gay Train and The Lesson Of The Smiths.
It's their most adventurous sounding record yet, but still packed with the kind of
gleeful optimism and wise words that fans have come to expect.
The Validators are looking forward to playing the new songs to as many people as possible.
Fans can find more information at the band's website,
www.mjhibbett.com
, and download songs

This is The Big One, Duxford Airshow, paying tribute to Churchill's Few, commemorating
this anniversary of Britain's Finest Hour.
In the summer of 1940 pilots of the RAF engaged hostile air forces and drove them from our skies.
Credit must also be attributed to the aircraft of the time, Hurricanes and Spitfires.
As time goes by, the number of these heroic pilots who flew
