Friday 10th February - Funky Kingston Exclusive DJ Set with Jerry Dammers at The Adelphi 8pm

Jerry Dammers, the founder of the 2-Tone record label, member of
The Specials and writer of Free Nelson Mandela comes to Hull on Friday 10th February.
In 1979, 2-Tone changed the world of music.
Taking Jamaican Ska, mod fashion, and the Punk ethic, The Specials led the
rude boy revolution. Now, for one night only Jerry Dammers, the 2-Tone creator,
will be at the Adelphi selecting killer tunes from his personal vinyl collection.
His visionary DJ sets are renowned - expect the finest in ska and reggae with
occasional excursions into further flung sonic worlds.

Also appearing are Concrete Breaks, Hull's finest live funk outfit.
Taking inspiration from The Meters, Bootsy Collins, Jimmy Smith and The Who, their
