Saturday 10th September - Redshed at The White Room

Sheffield breakthrough band, Redshed return to Hull to play The White Room on Saturday 10 September. The band's previous dates in the City have gone down a storm; but this marks their first return since signing a recording contract with This Sound. It'll be our first chance to showcase tracks recorded for our debut EP to our following in Hull.

We had a great night last time we played here and it'll be good to give our local following a listen to the tracks before the EP comes out, explained singer Simon Pashley.

It's a fairly quick return to the city for us but the set's undergone a fairly big change and we'll also play some new stuff that we couldn't fit in last time round. The band's tireless gigging has seen their following increase and secure support slots with the best of the current crop of indie bands, including The Longcuts; and they've been booked to support seminal punk band The Slits on their forthcoming tour.

The bands label, This Sound, explained, The lads are now heading up the label's big launch night at the Liverpool Carling Academy 2 (24 October). We wasted no time in getting them into the studio once they'd agreed to sign for us and the results are astonishing; it'll re-enforce their growing status as one of Yorkshire's best new acts.
