Nov and Dec - Stripped at The Wellington Inn

The finest acoustic tunes from the North's best bands and solo artists every first and third Thursday of the month. The Wellington Inn is proud to be the home of Hull Stripped, and offers hundreds of beers and ales from across the globe. Variety is the essence of the venue and a quintessential part of the Stripped concept.

Thursday 3rd November - 8pm Tonight sees a welcome return to Stripped for Steve Reed, promoting his latest album I Have To Go. Also performing will be the highly praised Tom Ritchie, as well as Jenny Smith. Joesolo (ex-Lithium Joe) will be playing his new material - a first for Stripped. Thursday 17th November - 8pm Three bands new to Stripped tonight:

The Vels, The Rise and The Nick Duggan Complex on what promises to be another excellent bill.

Thursday 1st December - 8pm A very special evening tonight with a much anticipated performance from York's Holly Taymar. Holly's blend of jazz and pop has been compared to Nora Jones, and her debut album has received critical acclaim from the music press. Read the review here Also playing will be Hull's Meg Williams, promoting her latest EP recording. The bill is completed with an always popular Stripped peformance by Launderette Poets who will soon be releasing their first album.
