Yes, the competition with a cash prize is back! If you would like to enter your band or know a band who would like to enter, then pop into the Polar Bear for an application form. The closing date for entries is Thursday 21st July 2005 and the battle commences on Thursday 28th July 2005. The gigs will take place on Thursday nights - All styles and abilities welcome!

Coming Up - Fund Raising Bike Ride From Southport To Hornsea - 30th May 05 By Andrew Steele
	Along with 2 friends, I am taking part in a fund-raising bikeride on 30th May. We will be cycling from Southport to Hornsea, just over 215 miles, and plan to complete this in 4 days. Not exactly climbing Everest, but still no mean feat for a wheezing weakling like me!
