15th to 17th July - Hull International Short Film Festival at Hull Screen

Hull Film is back with the 4th Hull International Short Film Festival taking place from 15-17 July at Hull Screen. The festival will screen a variety of programmes including Electric Edwardians: The Films of Mitchell & Kenyon with music by In The Nursery. There will be screenings of new International films and Sean McAllister will show his early shorts made in Hull. Artists' film and video programmes include Reverence, short films by Owen Land and Describing the Form dealing with sculpture and film, as well as films from the Archive of Polish Experimental Film.

Hull Film has received over 500 submissions which will be available to view in the videothéque to be included in the Festival Hub in the Take 5 Café at Hull Screen. There will be selected screenings from these submissions of narrative, documentary, animation and experimental shorts, as well as programmes of local and regional films. Other events to be confirmed include guest speakers and filmmakers, industry talks, plus film and live music evenings.
