Saturday 21st May 05 - Hull Friends of the Earth Green Fair

Spring is in the air and it's time once again for Hull Friends of the Earth Green Fair. This year's Spring Green Fair will be on Saturday 21 May 2005, at the Marist Hall, on Cottingham Road in Hull (opposite Cranbrook Avenue), from 11am to 4pm. There will be a variety of stalls, some old favourites and some new friends. There will be arts and crafts alongside the conservationists, there will be fresh vegan and vegetarian food from the Green Café, and of course there will be live music all through the day.

It's a day to meet and talk with like-minded people, said event organiser Carole Noreiko, You can discover all sorts of information, find plants and other things to buy, and if you've time and energy to spare, there are schemes looking for volunteers. For further information please contact

Coming Up - Fund Raising Bike Ride From Southport To Hornsea - 30th May 05 By Andrew Steele
	Along with 2 friends, I am taking part in a fund-raising bikeride on 30th May. We will be cycling from Southport to Hornsea, just over 215 miles, and plan to complete this in 4 days. Not exactly climbing Everest, but still no mean feat for a wheezing weakling like me! The purpose of the bike ride is to raise money for the charity KIDS in Hull, which helps children with learning difficulties in a variety of ways. Read more...

	The leader of the fascist BNP along with other Nazi supporters, Mark Collett and John Tyndall will appear before Leeds Magistrates court answering charges of race hatred following the BBC's undercover investigation Secret Agent.
