Exhibitions - From Sunday 29th May 05 - Club Art Exhibition By Carolyn

Check out a new exhibition happening in Hull at the John Street Gallery opposite the New Clarence pub.

This is an exhibition from artists in Hull with paintings, photos and installations portraying their visions, experiences and influences from clubbing. It is open for one month from the 29th May and viewing is by appointment only.

This will be worth a good look around (I'm bound to say that though, as I am being exhibited!). All the pieces are going up for sale so you could bag yourself a fantastic piece of modern art for a very reasonable price and some of the artists have had limited edition art cards made. Coming Up - Fund Raising Bike Ride From Southport To Hornsea - 30th May 05 By Andrew Steele
	Along with 2 friends, I am taking part in a fund-raising bikeride on 30th May. We will be cycling from Southport to Hornsea, just over 215 miles, and plan to complete this in 4 days. Not exactly climbing Everest, but still no mean feat for a wheezing weakling like me! The purpose of the bike ride is to raise money for the charity KIDS in Hull, which helps children with learning difficulties in a variety of ways. Read more...
