This year sees the first ever festival taking place along Ella Street, off Newland Avenue.

A special event to celebrate the unique community spirit of this street, there will be many attractions to reflect the diversity that makes Ella Street special.

Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Giant Games, Musical Maze, children's Scrap Workshop, Art Workshop, Chalks, Mosaic, Graffiti, Fun Olympics, Pet show, Local History, Local Nature, Book Swap, Soap Box Ranting competition, Fire Eating, Radio Controlled Cars, Giant Haystack, Music, Amateur Theatre, Puppet Theatre, Dance, Salsa, Tango ..... 7pm - 9.30pm Community Barbecue with Live Music and DJs - bring your own food to pop on the Barbie! 9.30pm - 11pm Street Cinema with live pianist! 	For those who cannot make it up to Edinburgh, as many of us can't mid-week, please come to gathering in the city centre on Wednesday to make your mark. The gathering will start in front of the BIG SCREEN from 5.30pm onwards - we can all watch events on the news at 6pm. Bring placards, bring banners, bring drums and other noises makers, or just bring your voice.
