Saturday 2nd April Hull Community Choir - Sing With Me Workshop

Hull Community Choir presents ... Sing With Me ..... A Workshop Leaders Training Weekend with Ali Bullivent Date: Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April 2005 Time: 10am - 4pm Venue: St James Enterprise Centre, St James Street, English Street, Hull.

A weekend training event for people who would like to teach songs to their singing group or choir and would like to build their confidence through trying it out within a safe and supportive group first. The group will consist of people who have limited experience of teaching songs, but would really like to have a go. The aims of the training will be to:

Become more confident in leading choir/singing groups. Learn several new songs to take back to choir/singing groups. Find out where to get resources. Discover how you can use your unique skills and gifts to facilitate effectively. Explore your own voice and gain an understanding of how the voice works. Discuss the concept of choirs, natural voice work and the wider implications for individual, community and spiritual development. Ali is an inspirational singer and natural voice practitioner who has extensive experience in setting up and leading voice workshops, community choirs and festivals. Places are limited so booking early is recommended. £65.00 (Deposit £25.00 secures place) Please bring food to share and equipment for recording songs.
