Wymersley Park Action Group 'Building Bridges Between Generations'

Wymersley Park Action Group is a partnership between local residents and the Derringham Ward Independent Councillors to secure the necessary funding to establish a recreation are for children and young people on the site of the derelict play area on Wymersley Road. The Action group have already commissioned draft site plans, and have submitted a bid for the first stage of the park development. Initial plans show a children's play area, water play feature, skateboarding, picnic areas, sports and exercise equipment. These draft plans will be on display at the Family Fun Day on Saturday August 16th. The Wymersley Park Action Group is a partnership unique in the City and a first for the Derringham Area. The costs of providing the park area are well over £300,000 but when completed it will be the best in the city. Your support would be welcome.
