	At Christmas time last year, young people at the West Hull Warren staged an unusual and tasty event - they threw a huge Christmas dinner celebration for anyone and everyone - at Pickering Park! 	Young local artist Jason Karlson has organised a brand new n event to give local live artistes a chance to perform in public. The first of his Sunday evening 'open mic' type gatherings will be 14th December. I asked Jason about the event and he said, Basically the gig is to try and promote more new music and creativity in Hull by giving people a stage on which to present thier material for free.
