Tsunami Benefit Concert in Hull - Saturday 15th January

In aid of the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Asia, Michelle Dee is organising a benefit gig in Hull on Saturday 15th January. We all feel that we must do something to help in what is likely to be the biggest disaster we'll ever witness. We're asking bands to donate their time and talent to help raise loads of cash. ALL money raised will go directly to the relief effort.

We're also asking businesses and bands to donate prizes - or items we could auction at the concert. All profits from the sale of official thisisUll.com t-shirts will be donated to the tsunami earthquake appeal until further notice.

The gig was announced by Alan Raw on last Thursday's Raw Talent show on BBC Radio Humberside. Since that time we have had an unprecedented response from the bands in Hull and the surrounding area. The event is looking very large scale already. The venue is still to be confirmed - any offers or ideas would be appreciated.

We are anticipating an all day/evening affair to rival any other music event in the city to date.

So far there are indie, punk, folk/blues, goth metal genres all interested. We are hoping to have a couple of chart acts there too. Local TV and radio are also keen to get involved.
