Rock 'n' Roll Icons Exhibition - The Gallery at Kingswood

Rock 'n' Roll Icons: A collection of new work by Mark Hebblewhite, an independent artist working in Hull. Mark's new collection of paintings depicts images of pop culture paying particular homage to Warhol's iconic and timeless screen prints. My work concentrates mainly upon the human condition in its many forms and guises. These twenty carefully chosen Icons represent music that is important from my own existence, from childhood encounters of 'glam rock' through to 'punk' and beyond.

In today's culture of manufactured pop bands, and the constant regurgitation of mass produced accessories, isn't it time we had a nostalgic look back to see who made Rock 'N' Roll so innovative, exciting, and above all rebellious?
