STOP THE PRESS - Sunday 12th September - Reclaim The Lamp
|
There will be a fabulous, filthy fundraising fiesta at The Lamp on Sunday in aid of the
Reclaim the Streets campaign.
Now we all know that Reclaim the Streets is really nothing more than an excuse to drink
Red Stripe in the middle of the road but what we sometimes forget is that the idea of
Reclaim the Streets is as much about road safety and the environment as it is mindless anarchy.
|
|
So despite what your preconceptions may be, I assure you it's a very worthy cause.
The mighty CrackTown will be masters of ceremonies.
There will be a host of DJs spinning the decks, prizes, strippers and chicken dippers ..
If you are in a band or you fancy coming down to play a tune or two, you are more than welcome ..
Entry is as FREE as Nelson Mandela and the usual booze prices apply.
So why don't you resist the temptation to watch Heartbeat and get your sweet behinds down
to The Lamp this Sunday .. anyone who's anyone is going to be there .. and some other people too, I expect
7.30 til late

What can I say, other than what an amazing night!
Support band The Dead 60's, who took on the mighty stage at
8pm sharp for their half-hour set, were so brilliant that I'd almost forgotten
