Coming Up Music NightClubs
GATC at the Queens, Thursday 13th May 04
Local punk band GATC who have been going for six years or more are about to do their first ever pub gig on the 13th May at the Queens pub.

Previously they have felt unable to play to the general public because of the extremity of the music, and resigned themselves to playing exclusive venues.
Now they are coming out of the closet and it will be interesting to see what the reaction will be.......

Check out GATC for yourself at

Humour - Is it All Over for the Personal Ads? by Jane Foster
At one time, joining a dating agency or putting a personal ad in the paper was seen as the mark of desperation. If anyone did do it, they seldom admitted it - unless they actually ended up meeting someone and staying with them. Then the details of how they met might leak out slowly.. But technology has changed the way people meet and interact, and one of the most common pastimes is.. Read more...
