Coming Up
Tuesday 23rd November - Music:Mix TV Show on Spark

Following their last successful live night at The Piper Club Spark returns. Here's the line-up:

Blind Frog Ernie
The Applewhites
Blue Sand
The Displacements

Admission £3 or £2 with a flyer.
Spark is a new interactive project from media and design students from the University of Lincoln (based on George Street, Hull) and the BBC. The content will be accessible through Kingston Interactive Television (KIT), alongside our own website, once completed. We are hoping to launch these services in the autumn.

This is a fantastic opportunity the BBC has given students to create and develop television content for a mass audience to view and therefore is a unique opportunity for us, the students, to learn the skills required for the real world and to get our creations seen on a worldwide scale.
Music:Mix is one of these creations. A team of students are developing music content for viewers to not only gain access to the best of the local bands from their own home but also giving them the opportunity to be part of the audience which will give people the chance to be on television and also to witness the bands playing live on a monthly basis.
