Saturday 20th November 04 - Hull Friends of the Earth Green Fair

The next Hull Friends of the Earth Green Fair is on Saturday 20th November 2004, from 11am to 4pm, at the Marist Hall, on Cottingham Road in Hull (opposite Cranbrook Avenue). Hull Friends of the Earth Green Fair has grown in popularity ever since its humble beginnings. It outgrew the old St Augustine's Hall on Princes Road, then the Prinny Ave Methodist Hall and the first Spring Green Fair filled the new venue.

As well as strictly green organisations, there are arts and crafts, bric-à-brac and stalls for rummaging on, a variety of interesting goods, and lots of organisations come to spread their message. There were new stall-holders in May, and we anticipate that many of them will be back in November.

We have already had enquiries from groups wanting a stall, so old friends and new alike are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. Even in the new larger venue, we will not be able to fit in more than thirty stalls.

There will be live music again, and we are planning home-made organic vegetable soup at the Green Cafe. We charge £8 for a table, or £7 for the space if you bring your own table. All stalls are in the same large room, and there is ample off-road parking.
