Beverley Folk Festival 17th - 20th June

This year sees the 21st anniversary of the Beverley Folk Festival. Amongst the attractions this year are the Levellers, playing an acoustic set especially for the occasion. Also, the famous Waterson family, of which some members have previously been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Novelist Ian Rankin takes a break from writing to perform with fellow singer-songwriter Jackie Leven. All this and plenty more, including the Fringe element of the festival, with local bands playing and hosting open sessions..dance teams and workshops to go to.. and I hear that our very own CrackTown will be performing somewhere about too...
