Put your money away, this is the heaviest night there's likely to be in Hull for the rest of the year. Gutworm, fresh from supporting anarcho-punks Amen, are taking to the road on their volition, testing their mettle against local heavyweights Dumpvalve and Trench, the latter having only just returned to Blighty from Europe. This isn't fad-obsessed fashion metal, or a case of nice-hair-and-shoes rock - this is bare bone hardcore metal the way it should be played.
