Saturday 31st December 05 - Yo-Yo Indie Night New Years Eve Party at The Welly Club Hull

From 10pm - 3am. Following last year's Yo-Yo New Year indie party selling out days in advance leaving hundreds of revellers disappointed, promoters this year decided to put tickets on sale in mid November to give people as much chance as possible to buy one. Last year we sold all 450 tickets a few days before the 31st. We then had enquiries for easily the same amount of tickets again, if not more in the two days prior to New Years Eve. This year we have had emails asking for tickets from all over the country.

Mainly returning students to Hull. We have even sold some to a Yo-Yo fan in Japan who is coming home for Christmas! said Andrew. The 2005 end of year party is the climax to amazing year which has see the duo (Andrew and Priya) celebrate Yo-Yo's 10th anniversary and bring bands such as Art Brut, New Rhodes, The Rakes, Cazals, The Cribs, The Long Blondes, The Young Knives, Littl'ans, The 5 O'clock Heroes, Ladyfuzz, The Paddingtons, Thee Unstrung to the City as well as offering support and gigs to a wealth of local talent such as Turismo and The Dirty Dreamers.

Keeping what will be a sell out crowd happy on New Years Eve will be DJ Priya on the decks. Expect many surprises as well as a Greatest Indie hits hour from midnight, pyrotechnics and giant video wall and a full dance floor jumping to The Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, The Smiths, The Cribs, The Clash and The Killers.
