Saturday 11th June - The Five O'Clock Heroes and The Senses at Yo-Yo at The Welly Club

With hardly had chance to recover from The Rakes gig, Yo-Yo is doing it all over again on Saturday the 11th June! This time they're dragging New Yorkers, The five O' Clock Heroes, kicking and screaming across The Atlantic and up the M1 to Hull! The lads touch down on UK soil after playing a weeks worth of gigs in their home town of New York with The Bravery and The Ordinary Boys! So now to Hull, and what promises to be another ace night.

So why should we be as exited about this band as the national music press? Well here are a few quotes to whet your appetites: A New York band with chiming guitars - The new Interpol ... Their latest single Headgames was released in May to rave reviews and has rocked the Yo-Yo dance floor every Saturday night ever since. Support on the night comes from Hull edgy Rock 'n' Roll three piece, The Senses. Doors open at 10pm (bands from 10.30pm) with DJ Priya keeping the crowd jumping and falling around till 3am.
