Saturday 8th October - Yo-Yo Indie night with The Mardous, 59 Violets, Dj Priya and Franz Ferdinand giveaway at The Welly

This Saturday at Yo-Yo yet another band from the Poptones label tempted up The M1 by the lure of a sell out Yo-Yo crowd - The Mardous. They are the latest angular-indie heroes and have just released Revolution over the phone on Alan McGee's famous label. Support for the evening comes from local upstarts The 59 Violets who are a fine guitar band doing trashy punk with flagons of energy and sharp attitude.

Also lucky punters will have a chance a getting their hands on Franz Ferdinand stuff to celebrate the release of their second album You Could Have It So Much Better which came out on 3rd October. To cap it all off, the night will be hosted by DJ Priya and promoter Andrew Coe. What more do you want for £6?
