Sweet N Sour At Silhouette Club, Hull - February and March 2005

For those of you that don't know, Sweet-n-Sour has now moved to every Saturday at Silhouette Club. Sweet-n-Sour Saturdays is a Rock-n-Roll Disco. Five hours of jump about, twist and shout, sing your heart out indie, Rock-n-Roll and guitar pop. Live bands, cheap drinks, bongos, buskers, pacman, orange slices and err... green vodka!

Saturday 5th February City Ghosts - Dark pop harmonies in an indie punk style. The Blueslide Circle - Huge sounding Zeppelin-esque rock-n-roll. Saturday 12th February The Last People on Earth - Epic, beautiful, Doors meets Buckley masterpieces The Morphines - Like The Buzzcocks with Ian Curtis< vocals.

Saturday 19th February We Start Fires - Slabs of pop that sound like Sleeper being produced by Phil Spectre The Johnsons - Fast paced garage rock. Like The Undertones fighting The Strokes. Saturday 26th February The Glitterati - Like The Cooper Temple Clause jamming with AC/DC

Saturday 5th March Black Wire - Leeds new wave rockers and NME Single of the week favourites. The Applewhites - Simple but fantastic Rock-n-Roll. Not disimilar to The Blueskins Saturday 19th March Forward Russia! - Jerky angular guitar music. Sound like Dogs Die ... being attacked by Gang Of Four.
