The Lamp Grassroots 2004
On Sunday 29th of this month Lamp is going to be hosting an outdoor music cafe in Pearson Park as part of the annual Grassroots festival. Located in the rose garden area, we will be playing summer sounds to put on suncream to (fingers crossed!) In association with live@lamp and the Sunday Service we will also have a small (but perfectly formed) stage with acoustic acts performing throughout the afternoon.

Blunt Food will be serving a variety of snacks and meals, and we will also be selling fresh fruit cocktails (alcohol free). Scrapstore will be there running lamp making workshops throughout the day for the little people and families.

It will be a perfect place to relax, get a bite to eat and enjoy some great music, and a lovely compliment to the rest of the Grassroots festivities. Along with the Main Stage were all the live bands will perform there is the Funkywormhole Sound System Marquee, and on the other side of the park DJ Redlocz and the Full Flava collective will be doing their thing, see below for further details. Sunday the 29th of August, Pearson Park, 12 till 6, we will then move onto the lamp for more live music courtesy of the Sunday Service open mic night.
