Over the years there have been hundreds of blotter designs, ranging from sacred images to the profane. Cartoon characters have found their way onto sheets along with mystical symbols, and musical imagery. The collection of this form of art has become recognized and legitimized, and blotter art is being seen for what it truly is, a real folk art.

Today, Blotter Art is a highly collectable form of artwork. It has transcended the underground drug market and is available to art lovers worldwide. It steals its popularity from the visual similarities it shares with its' once prolific chemical-soaked cousin. It is not illegal, it is ART! It celebrates the days gone by when we were young and our minds were blooming. Now we no longer have to use an illegal substance to take a trip, even if it is down memory lane.
